The James Braid Trail · Eastern Scotland

James Braid courses
Scotland — 7-day itinerary.

Seven Braid-designed clubs, all within an hour of one private lodge in Angus. Reciprocal rates for Association members.

The Braid Trail of the east

One basecamp. Seven of the great man's courses. A short drive between each.

James Braid — five-time Open Champion — designed or remodelled over three hundred courses across the British Isles. An unusually rich concentration of them lie within an hour of Airlie House, our private eight-bedroom lodge near Brechin in Angus. Members of any club in the Association of James Braid Courses play one another's layouts at preferential rates.

Stay with us, book tee times directly with each club, and play a different Braid course every day of the week.
